Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you'll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. This is a day for rest and preparation for the upcoming trek.

The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes, crossing rivers and small villages. Syabrubesi serves as the starting point for the trek.

From Syabrubesi, the trail winds through dense forests, waterfalls, and rhododendron groves. You’ll pass several small villages before reaching Lama Hotel for an overnight stay.

Today, the trail ascends through more forests and fields, with a stopover at Gatlang and Mundu. The views begin to open up as you approach Langtang Village, where you’ll experience authentic Tamang culture.

A shorter hike brings you to Kyanjin Gompa, the main highlight of the trek. The area is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, and you'll have the chance to explore the monasteries and hike to Tserko Ri for a panoramic view.

Spend the day hiking to Tserko Ri (4,984 m) for stunning views of Langtang Lirung and other peaks, or exploring glaciers and local monasteries. This helps in acclimatizing for the high-altitude return trek.

The return journey follows the same trail, passing through forests and traditional villages. It's a scenic descent filled with opportunities to reflect on the trek.

The final leg of the journey takes you back to Kathmandu through the scenic route. You can rest, enjoy a farewell dinner, or explore more of Kathmandu’s vibrant culture before departure.
