Shaligram Bhattrai

At just 28 years old, Mr. Bhattarai is the Founder and Director of Eco Himalaya Treks & Travels. More than a leader behind the scenes, he is also an active trek and tour guide, personally leading adventures across Nepal and beyond. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Hindi, Mr. Bhattarai has been guiding treks and tours since 2006, bringing nearly two decades of hands-on experience to his role. His expertise is global — he spent three years in Doha, Qatar, working as a Spanish-speaking tour guide for Qatar Airways, and has collaborated with leading travel companies across North America, South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. A passionate traveler at heart, he has trekked numerous iconic routes in the Himalayas and explored adventure trails across continents. His deep love for nature, cultural connection, and commitment to sharing the beauty of the Himalayas with the world continue to inspire the mission of Eco Himalaya.
